Dam Square (please remember to check out!)

ebay shorts £1, primark plimsolls £1, charity shop top £1, miss selfridge collar necklace £3, claires sunglasses £3, random belt
[bf: primark shorts £11, asda sunglasses & river island sleeveless tee £9]

Don't think I'll ever forget the voice of the tram repeating "Dam Square" every time we passed it (hence the weird post title hehe). The trams definitely played a part in my falling in love of the city, they seemed so much calmer than hectic London buses & tubes. Incidentally we witnessed a tram crash, which ended up becoming a mothers meeting for the policemen ;)

Stocked nearly nineteen items on eBay, it's clearout time! Go take a peek

Baseball Daze

asos brown leather sandals £20 £9, levi 501 cut offs via rokit £10, topman tee via charity shop £3, topman triangle necklace £2, h&m satchel via charity shop £2.50

Just an outfit I don't even have to think about wearing, just add tights for warmth.
Had an amazing girly holiday in Valencia, mixing up chilling on the terrace, exploring the city and "partying" by the beach. And my second post will be the incredible car boot sale finds at Battersea Boot sale. It was my first time at Battersea, and it was just incredible. Anyway, happy Monday everyone :)

Amsterdam: View from a bridge

topshop tunic £22, asos brown leather "flutter" sandals £9, old denim jacket & belt, charity shop brown leather satchel £4, miss selfridge silver collar £3.25

Some outfit photos from the first day of Amsterdam - I think I'm in love. The general vibe is very casual, chilled and the people trendy. I was surprised by the canal network - I'd thought that there was one "famous" bridge but turns out there are hundreds, ha. On Day 1 we started off learning the way of the trams, finding our hotel (slightly outside the city) followed by a light evening wander, where we found the beautiful Vondelpark. Turns out the Dutch eat early, but we luckily managed to find a pizza/pasta place. Expect more...

Shop the eBay shop. I'm feeling VERY out of pocket.

Oh and I think these sandals are a very good alternative to the Topshop "Jesus" sandals - and half the price.

Simple simple outfit. I seem to subsciounsly going for monochrome and denim lately... Probably England's fault, Y U SO GREY
I had two A Level exams today, hence the lack of posts. One went my way, the other, unfortunately, didn't. Le sigh. Had to cheer myself up with boyfriend + Macdonalds chocolate milkshake + cheeky Miss Selfridge sale purchases :) Aaaaaand I've been a lucky giveaway winner over at Essie's blog/youtube wooooo
Until the next time!

A Touch of Fluro

h&m floral dress £4, brothers cream blazer, black satchel bag h&m via charity shop £2.50, asos hippie charm neon necklace £1.50, new look suede moccasins £25
This dress was a steal from H&M online - long delivery, but when you get 4 items for £11 it's so worth it!
Break from revision to get a Sicilian lemonade frappichino from Caffe Nero. So glad that the  sunny weather has hit me on a week offff from exams! Working on my tan as it is currently non-existant (not for long hehe). Shout out to the lovely lasses, Izzy and Phoebe who visited me today for sun, pizza and ice lollies. And to my boyfriend, I'm very proud of my trainee photographer :) Even though he may not be the best apprentice!
Good news: lots of shorts coming to my shop soon! Let summer commence

Be casual: dipped hem dress

dipped hem dress ebay £7, vintage sleeveless denim jacket via lucy, primark plimsolls £2, topman cross necklace £3, isobel kho canvas bag

When I found this dipped hem/hi low/mullet/asymmetric dress on eBay, I actually paused and considered bidding. If this is you now, don't. JUST BUY. I love love love wearing this, it's something that is actually a pleasure to wear [hence the spinning and jumping]. I figured I could only wear it with heels and that a "casual" look would be unattainable - is it reality or vanity that causes bloggers add giant-ass heels to the most casual day outfits?
So anyway. Here's my advice. Grab a mixture of short and long layers, add a bit of denim and shove on whatever shoes you find comfiest.

Expect more on this dress.
And I found a cuter version at New Look - it has awesome triangle cut out detail at the back.
Gd'night
x
My excuse for buying this despite being broke is that I needed it for a costume party to be a witch. Ha.

Looking forward to a break from the mediocrity which is sixth form college, my birthday and  more sunny days like this.

Hope you're having a lovely week!

Vernal Equinox

pointed flats £15 h&m, navy chunky cardi £8 primark kids, leggings £2 charity shop, rope & chain necklace £3 primark, sheer floral shirt £2 ebay, cat eye sunglasses £3 claires, vintage satchel £4 charity shop

Pretty simple outfit for UK Mother's Day. These are my witchy pointed shoes which make my feet very long in comparison to my body. I have body:feet ratio problems.
FIRST SUNGLASSES OF THE YEAR! Doing things oddly, I already had Pimm's in February and went out without a coat in March. England's a bit confused at the moment.

  • 18 in less than a month woooo
  • Visiting Bristol for a uni open day, really hoping I'll like it
  • Waiting for the UK release of Revlon Lip Butters! Been saving up my advantage card points for this very reason. Incidentally, there was a hair in my Smoked Salmon & Potato Salad from Boots today. Went straight back to the shop in utter disgust. This happened to me at McDonalds last week too, I seem to be attracting lost hairs GROSS.
  • Shop stocked up very soon!
Mother's day flowers:

I seem to frequently end with flower photos. I hope you like x Happy Vernal Equinox!

Pinking about the tulips

revlon matte lipstick in pink about it ebay £3, accessorize necklace £12 £3, ebay floral trousers £2, asos crop top £9

Mannnn this has been an embarassingly long abscence. Mock exams blablabla camera problems blablabla life blablabla. And I return and give you what? Phone photos.*
Anyway I can't find a spike necklace I can afford so I got this in the sales :)
I also can't find floral trousers I can afford therefore I scoured eBay and found these. SO COMFY. However, looking at these H&M lovelies now, see here and here only £12.99!
Got some results today. Pretty pleased with myself, therefore, maybe more floral trousers in my life!

Probably the "trendiest" thing right now - anyone else going to indulge in some key blogger pieces?
