Dam Square (please remember to check out!)

ebay shorts £1, primark plimsolls £1, charity shop top £1, miss selfridge collar necklace £3, claires sunglasses £3, random belt
[bf: primark shorts £11, asda sunglasses & river island sleeveless tee £9]

Don't think I'll ever forget the voice of the tram repeating "Dam Square" every time we passed it (hence the weird post title hehe). The trams definitely played a part in my falling in love of the city, they seemed so much calmer than hectic London buses & tubes. Incidentally we witnessed a tram crash, which ended up becoming a mothers meeting for the policemen ;)

Stocked nearly nineteen items on eBay, it's clearout time! Go take a peek

  • Hellloooo and WELCOME! Oh dear, it has been long. Its a shame when something that you love doing has to take a backseat, ohh the pains of ~real life~.
  • Since my last post I've turned 18! A real lady! I even voted in the London elections! I've also spent way too much time on Pottermore*, claim 2 free bottles of Prosecco at Pizza Express and just generally work revise work shop internet internet. Hmm. Well I'll be back with a belated birthday "haul" next post, so be ready.
  • So this is what I wore to a party this Saturday, except with fuchsia lipstick - this one was lurking under my wardrobe at the time.
  • SHOUT out to le boyfriend, who bought me these shoes. He even let me culture him at the V&A yesterday.
  • I will be back, and thank you to my followers for bearing with this prolonged absence. Finally, check out my eBay stuff, ending tomorrrrrrow!

*I don't even want to talk about where I was sorted.
Warning: I've already returned one pair of these leggings after a split-seam-at-crotch mishap. ohhhh dear

Be casual: dipped hem dress

dipped hem dress ebay £7, vintage sleeveless denim jacket via lucy, primark plimsolls £2, topman cross necklace £3, isobel kho canvas bag

When I found this dipped hem/hi low/mullet/asymmetric dress on eBay, I actually paused and considered bidding. If this is you now, don't. JUST BUY. I love love love wearing this, it's something that is actually a pleasure to wear [hence the spinning and jumping]. I figured I could only wear it with heels and that a "casual" look would be unattainable - is it reality or vanity that causes bloggers add giant-ass heels to the most casual day outfits?
So anyway. Here's my advice. Grab a mixture of short and long layers, add a bit of denim and shove on whatever shoes you find comfiest.

Expect more on this dress.
And I found a cuter version at New Look - it has awesome triangle cut out detail at the back.
Gd'night
x
My excuse for buying this despite being broke is that I needed it for a costume party to be a witch. Ha.

Pinking about the tulips

revlon matte lipstick in pink about it ebay £3, accessorize necklace £12 £3, ebay floral trousers £2, asos crop top £9

Mannnn this has been an embarassingly long abscence. Mock exams blablabla camera problems blablabla life blablabla. And I return and give you what? Phone photos.*
Anyway I can't find a spike necklace I can afford so I got this in the sales :)
I also can't find floral trousers I can afford therefore I scoured eBay and found these. SO COMFY. However, looking at these H&M lovelies now, see here and here only £12.99!
Got some results today. Pretty pleased with myself, therefore, maybe more floral trousers in my life!

Probably the "trendiest" thing right now - anyone else going to indulge in some key blogger pieces?

Dress to the point

white lace dress dorothy perkins via charity shop £3, primark pleather jacket £10, asos necklace £2, ebay black bag £3
  • So I'm not a little black dress kind of girl... I like dresses like this
  • How incredibly dodgy is this lighting? As much as I would like to fix it when taking photos, I've noticed the autofocus on my camera is rubbish on any setting which isn't "automatic". And I missed the warranty for my broken lens gahhh.
  • Anyway, everything is good, just sitting and waiting for term to be over and for Christmas to hit me. Seriously. WHERE IS IT? C'est une bonne question.
Fact Rant:
  • I just booked my summer holiday (AYIA NAPA 2K12*).
  • Got offers from three unis :)
  • Bought a glittery blackberry case like this muhahahaha
  • Buy from my shop
See y'all

**Awkz that I intially posted this with the draft title "dress". Self explanatory and straight to the point, essentially blunt, which is what I'm famous for in the real world. Ohhh the irony

Indian Summer

leopard h&m wedges £8, ebay shorts £1, asos top £6, charity shop bag £1, asos necklace £3, vintage sunglasses
So today was the final day of the temporary "indian summer", barely scraping that at 21C. What's new? Had an all day English lecture and now by mind is riddled with pastoral idylls and other awful concepts. Off to clear my head of such nonsense with some TOWIE and Made in Chelsea. Ohhhh structured reality shows, you entertain me so with your awkward pauses, awful acting and magically disappearing drinks. Here's a photo of a nice passionflower from the garden. Stunning right?
Some lovely Topshop suede shorts to be found...

Jump into the fog

£3 primark necklace, £2 topshop carboot sale jeans, £4 ebay coat, £10 vintage silk shirt, belt from lydia lee, £8 h&m wedges

+About mint nail varnish: so last year Chanel obviously, but I can't help but be drawn to pale pastel colours (Collection 2000, Mint Mojo). Removed it already, am sporting space galaxy nails - next post.

++ Isabel took these photos with the newly fixed Nikon! WOO. For £0.00, they replaced my tube... Whatever that means! We were joking about on the balcony, and I was doing pretend "model" poses, hair in front of face etc, and they're not too bad...??

+++ Recently came to my attention that I'm an indie tumblr girl! Someone took a photo off my blog from Reading and posted it... Its got over 200 notes && reblogs, so obviously am honoured but I'm quite offended they didn't tell me or credit anyone involved, Isabel took the photo. Pretty sure bigger blogs have this more often but... grr.

WHO LIKES MY YELLOW BELT? I do. Won (actually won something) from Lydia in a giveaway! Was waiting for the perfect moment to showcase it - many thanks!

I've broken my baby

ebay coat £4, h! by henry holland boots £48, primark jeans £8, ebay rucksack £14, charity shop scarf £2, primark mittens £2

This was a trip to Brick Lane, the results of which are coming soon. My friend Phoebe really enjoys sabotaging my photos.
Something I did over Christmas, when mucking about with my camera, inspired by color me katie. (Tutorial here). And, speaking of cameras, I think I've broken my baby! My poor Nikon was involved in a fall from a bed, and now the focus is just not right. I'm seriously dreading the Nikon repair costs, because I reckon they'll reject the warranty.

Which leads me to my next topic, I'M GOING TO KOS! With all my gals, finally booked flights, but we don't have any accomodation yet, hopefully this hotel, anyone ever been to Kos?

Of course, with the New Year and holiday booking seasons comes the dreaded job hunt. I'm about to go hand out my CV to absoloutley everywhere, mainly in retail, so fingers crossed. AND something I found out, if you're under 18, you get paid around £1 less per hour at the same job and same hours as an over 18! I think this is outrageous, and I'm sure all of the under 16's agree. Aghhhhhh.

Hey new followers :) Stay tuned for word of a blog shop (oooooh)

Mesh Mesh Mesh

Yep, that's right. Return of the MESH. (Previously worn here). And of the Levi's.. Shhh.

ebay mesh shirt, vintage levi shorts and cardigan, primark tights
So this was the first of many celebrations for end of exams, we indulged in strawberries, champagne and sugar. Since then it's been seriously hot, and I've mainly been wandering around in a state of near nakedness not suitable for the likes of here... Haven't we all? :)
I'm going to Spain soon with "ma girlz", which is why I'm rooting for Spain tomorrow - then the mood will be fantastic when I arrive on Tuesday, it's always nice to not be in a country in state of national depression.

NEARLY 100 FOLLOWERS? How insane is that? I'll be seeing y'all soon
The beautiful girl on my right is the hostess herself... Thank you. And, photo credit to Izzy.
