Topshop necklace + Topshop ring = ~£5
L'oreal resurfacing primer £2

The Help by Kathyrn Stockett 20p

I couldn't believe my luck when the first stall I visited at Battersea car boot sale had a brand new Urban Decay Naked Palette sitting casually on the table. Some very stylish ladies were holding the table too, my sister picked up a Love dress, H&M shorts and a silky shirt from them too. The problem was that I then ran out of money, so cue running to Tesco's to get some more cash to spend :)
Needless to say I'm visiting again next week in hope of some more incredible bargains!

And a little thank you to Sascha at beautygeekuk.com, I won her giveaway for a Garnier Oil Free BB Cream, and she was kind enough to throw in a few extras :) Initially I disliked it, as it was so liquidy, but now I am in LOVE with it, others I've tried pale in comparison (no7, original Garnier, Maybelline, L'oreal). It's my go to skin base at the moment: not orange (for me!), high coverage, SPF, matte like finish. Currently on offer at Boots for £7.49, I might stock up!
I wore it yesterday with some powder and I was even told by a stranger I could be on a HD channel :D

17 berry crush lip tint, spiced instant chai latte

I've been doing that thing where you collect all your presents together and keep them there, even though this is mildly inconvenient... Makes me smile :) Very grateful to everyone!

Post title: Ronald Bilius Weasley, the Half Blood Prince

Standard ebay shop spam: got a lovely Topshop jumper, a sheer contrast cardigan and a vintage tartan cape thingimajobby which is, in my opinion, pretty awesome.

And yes, I did wear these shoes below before I "hauled" them. Broke an unwritten blogging/youtube law...

Hot Chocolate & Sprinkles

pleather leather leggings £15, asos owl ring, charity shop black faux fur coat £10 & satchel & scarf, vintage jumper via ebay £3, ebay necklace £1.15 from here

Photos from a walk in the snow slush last weekend with my boyfriend. Since then I've been very cold and therefore very ill and very bed-ridden. Which kind of explains my poor blogging, I'm still suffering from headaches today but luckily I found these! Can you believe this necklace was basically one pound? And it hasn't even broken yet!

*OMG FIRST MAC PURCHASE EVER* It's the lipstick Angel, how boring. Think it'll look pinker with a tan. Also am I the only one who doesn't like the ricepaper/vanilla scent of MAC lippies? No? Fine. Anyway all the MAC people looked like they were drag queens. Juss sayin'

Hope you've all had a lovely Valentines day and shared love with loved ones. I certainly haven't (despite having a boyfriend...le sigh) but this managed to cheer me up :) It's Jenna Marbles doing the cinnamon challenge dressed as drake. Enough said.

Just found H&M are restocking these two-tone leggings! May stock up for, you know, ~emergencies~

TOPSHOP SHAGGY FUR COAT: FOR SALE HERE

ebay metallic glitter dress £2, topman cross necklace £10 £3, elf nail varnish in metal madness, barry m lip red lip crayon

Unfortunately I'm selling this beautiful beautiful beautiful fur coat, as I literally do not have the space to keep it :(
It's brand new with tags, and the most amazing, cosy statement coat you'll ever find. The silver dress && matte red lipstick are the perfect partner, however, it's getting the plain old pleather jacket tommorow for Phoebe's 18th (shout out to Phoebe there!).
Think you can give this coat a nice friendly home? Check out the ebay listing

Onto nails, I lobe this nail varnish -  a charcoal grey with multi-coloured glitter, and it's currently only ONE POUND. How amazing?
Yes, I wore it without a top coat, and yes, it did chip but... Free shipping last weekend and so...  Their £1.50 eyelid primer is the fantastic. Srsly changed my life. I was a bit annoyed they changed their formula && colour for the lipstick "Classy" - I had been expecting a light pink but it is dark pink?!?! See this blog

I bid all of thee good night, with my apologies for the absence, I lost my camera remote, ordered a new one Sunday (£1.93) and BOOM on my doorstep this morning. Very impressed Amazon, very impressed. 300 followers yayyyyy!

The Orange Paper Hat

cutout shoulder red dress vero moda @ asos £24 £16.50, topshop ring, fashionistA magnetic nail polish in frankie

Merry Boxing day Boxing day!* I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you've awoken from various food comas. My parents banned me from eating my 4th mini Christmas dinner today. It was sad. Anyway, instead of listing gifts (both the nail polish- which chips like crazy -and ring were gifts though) I'll list what we ate. So I can relive the deliciousness which is Christmas food.

Starter: Gravlax - cold cured salmon (which I cured myself!) with a creamy horseradish sauce and capers
Main: Roast turkey, pigs in a blanket, stuffing, sage & onion sausage meat, almond & marzipan sausage meat, brussel sprouts, slightly charred parsnips, roast potatoes all smothered in gravy and served with bread sauce & cranberry jelly. Mmmm
Dessert: White chocolate cheese cake, Christmas pudding

Yes Christmas lunch is quite the (delayed) occasion at my house. Looking forward to turkey soup & sandwiches. Anyway, I've got to go and drain my cinnamon & gingerbread syrup. Originally meant to be gingerbread, but got a bit excited with the cinnamon sticks...
I'll leave you with my favourite Christmas tree decoration, this adorable owl.

*For Americans, that's the British name for the day after Christmas when you give presents to your servants, post men etc. This year my servants (aka my three brothers) got their presents on the day. Lucky beggars

topshop playsuit RRP £45 charity shop £7, cath kidston bag giveaway win from style crusader, asos snake necklace £3, asos owl soverign ring £2, free nail polish misguided
So this was my Harry Potter at Leceister Square outfit. Naturally I kept in theme with the owl ring and snake necklace - asos sale jewellery is the best, I've also got a snake ring on the way. KOS IS SO SOON! Am so excited, but freaking out about my lack of bikini's... Seriously, I may just use a wetsuit or be naked, not decided yet.
I ♥ this playsuit. WHAT a find. A bit of a disjointed post, non?

So I've pretty much been hauling my life around in this bag atm. It was a bargain from Isobel Kho's, check out her shop and etsy, she's got some lovely pug and deer print canvas totes too. What have I done this week? Well, seeing as nearly all of my friends and boyfriend ditched me for more exotic, exciting countries, I've been doing some retail therapy. Ebay, ASOS, charity shop shopping, all of it. Found some pretty great bargains too. Anyway, I'm watching the Killing right now (good but accidently read an important detail from the fifteenth, final episode ugh), so I'll see you guys later. HARRY POTTER TONIGHT!

Selling Topshop, vintage and dip dye shorts!

models own in champagne, barry m in red glitter and raspberry and some silver glitter, space nails in an assortment (about 10... did this with kitchen paper which I saw on a blog somewhere - I forget where!), 17 in midnight sapphire & barry m blue glitter
Feeling a bit very ill, so no outfit post. These are some random nail photos I keep taking and not blogging... Better late than never! As you can see, I have a fixation with shiny things, although I would love to try the Rimmel Matte Top Coat that's been circulating.

Subtle I know... You weren't expecting that ;)
I leave you with a quote from Project Runway's Michael Kors:
"She looks like a transvestite flamenco dancer at a funeral!"
